Three Myrtle Beach Golf Courses Ranked Among Top 100

Grande Dunes golf course of Myrtle Beach is one of three courses to make the top 100Golf Digest has unveiled its biennial ranking of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses, and several Myrtle Beach golf courses again made the cut.

The Dunes Club led a trio of Grand Strand golf courses on the prestigious list at No. 46, followed by No. 88 Grande Dunes and No. 94 Tidewater.

A Robert Trent Jones design, Dunes Club is the area’s most famed layout. The course plays within view of the Atlantic Ocean and enjoys a classic design. Dunes Club has hosted the U.S. Women’s Open, the finals of the PGA Tour’s Q-School, and numerous Senior PGA Tour Championships.

In its annual Golfweek’s Best issue, the weekly magazine honored seven Myrtle Beach area courses in its Best in State rankings, led by Caledonia Golf & Fish Club which was, again, ranked among America’s Top 100 modern courses.

The Love golf course at Barefoot Resort joins the nationally recognized list of Myrtle Beach golf coursesGolf Magazine unveiled its biennial ranking of America’s best public courses and the best each state has to offer in its September issue, and the Myrtle Beach area was, again, well represented.

Three Grand Strand courses, led by Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, earned a spot on Golf Magazine’s prestigious “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” list. Caledonia was ranked No. 28, followed by the Dunes Club at No. 48, and the Love Course at Barefoot Resort at No. 86.
