This is the time of year when cabin fever begins to set in for many of our friends in cold weather locales. Golf clubs have been replaced by an ice scraper in the trunk of the car and sunny skies, fast greens and great golf seem to be on the wrong side of the horizon.If you live in the northern New Jersey/New York City metro area, help is on the way.
Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday begins its annual tour of the golf show circuit with a trip to the New Jersey Golf Show this weekend. The show will be held January 20-22 at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, N.J.
The title sponsor of the show, MBGH will be giving away “Free Golf for a Year,” the annual Golf Holiday magazine, and we are bringing some of Myrtle Beach’s best package providers to you. Barefoot Golf Vacations and Traditional Golf Packages will accompany us to the New Jersey show.
Show hours are:
• Noon to 6 p.m. on Friday Jan. 20
• 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 21
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 22
It’s time to stop dreaming and start planning your 2012 Myrtle Beach golf trip, and a golf show is a good place to start.
